If anyone has noticed, I’m actually in the + numbers on my word total. I’m not exactly sure how they (the all knowing nano team) calculate that number because I am actually about 7,000 words behind where I should be today.
You see, if you figure it out. 50,000 words in a 30 day month, I should have passed 25,000 on the 15th of the month. I’m hoping to pass it today though and sprint to the finish before the 30th of the month. I have 44–single spaced–pages of pure nonsense. My friends all think I’m crazy.
“50,000 words in one month! Are you crazy?” they say.
I just smile and continue to rock back and forth holding muttering about my red stapler and hugging myself a little more tightly with each comment they make.
And so it was…
