Dandelions and Daydreams

That’s how many words I’ve gotten done on my novel. Yes, I took the plunge and signed up for NaNoWriMo. By the end of November I will have written the Great American Novel–or at least the greatest novel that I have attempted.

I haven’t really done anything special to rev up for this. I plan on writing during all my spare time and trying to get as far ahead as I can. I ate Raspberry fruit dreams today as my reward for meeting the first day’s word count. I also gulped down some English Breakfast tea before I walked to work.

The weather has turned cold. I’m glad that Writing month is in November when I really don’t want to go outside. It snowed on Sunday night. We went out to some friends to watch America’s Funniest Home Videos. One of Brenton’s co-workers won the $10,000 prize that night. Way cool. He got a nephew to wear a dog shock collar and video tape it. Yeah it was all staged, but if was funny when level six floored the guy.

Still waiting for DSL to come through. I’ll be doing a redesign then hopefully. I’ve got big plans in the till. Life is good.
