Hi there,
I’ve spent 5 years living in a “home that is not your house” and totally agree with you. I’ve done a lot of minor changes to make the place look better and bought good price lamps, and other stuff from this on-line store http://www.justhomedecor.com/estoreusa/home.php?cat=319 I will try some wall painting this weekend and also paint it white. It simply brights the room.

Thanks for your kind words Cindy. I didn’t wear myself out because I found myself relapsed (ugh) but I am feeling much better now.

I’ve had white walls most of my life–mainly because I didn’t know what other color to use. There is definitely something psychological about having your own home rather than renting though.

I hope you’re feeling better and don’t have to wear yourself out with all the catching up on housework this weekend.

I love white walls- so bright, and they add so much light to the rooms. I think they make the things on your walls stand out more as well. It’s always fun to make a new place your own!
