Rainy afternoons are good for sleeping
Have you ever watched and listened to rain falling and tried to stay awake? Combine this with laying down and being wrapped in a snuggly blanket and you will know that all attempts at consciousness is futile. This wonderful nap explains why I am still awake at 2:13 AM.
At this point, I must make a confession that since leaving LeTourneau, I have taken up a new hobby: sleeping. I would recommend this activity to anyone and especially to College students.
Did you know that if you have rain-x on your windshield, you don’t have to use your windshield wipers in the rain. Just make sure you have good tires and drive fast enough so that the water flies off the windshield.
Went to the gas station today. There was a little old lady buying scratch-off lottery stickers. I didn’t pay much attention to her until I realized that she had been my Sunday School teacher when I was abour 4 years old. She recognized me and refused to look at me. My dad thinks that Lottery tickets are really wrong. I think they are a waste of money. I’m more likely to get rich by saving my money than by buying lottery tickets. Don’t really know what I think about other people buying them. Just is I guess.
Still raining outside, I can hear it behind the sounds of The Mask of Zorro coming through my headphones. Perhaps I should go to sleep. Nah…nothing to do tomorrow morning anyways. Guess I’ll just sit and read for a while.
