In the first episode of season 9, 2 teams were sent home within hours of arriving at the ranch. Those 2 teams went home for 30 days to earn a place back on the ranch. A few weeks later, Hulu posted an update from those 2 teams. That update video (posted below) had the Bob & Jillian at home plan outlined.
Here is the summary of what the video says.
- Cardio, cardio, cardio.
- Don’t jump on a machine you don’t know how to use. You don’t want to get hurt
- No more of 2 hours of exercise in one sitting
- 1 hour walk first thing in the morning, hills are even better
- Variety–do cross training to avoid overuse injuries. Pool, bike, running, rowing, walking
- Try getting into a class
- Eat ~every 4 hours, 3 meals 1 small snack
- balance carbs, protein, fats
- all fruits & veggies
- lean protein
- 7 hours of sleep each night
