I had so much fun taking this series of pictures. It was truly a blessing that we weren’t under cloud cover–it was forecasted that we would be.

This series of picture reminded me why I love photography. I need to get my camera out more.

@ Stretch mark Mama–Sometimes you just have to put down the camera and enjoy the moment. I hope you were at least able to watch a bit.

@ Kim–thanks for the compliments. We actually sat in the car and watched. I left the camera set up and jumped out of the car every 15 minutes to take a shot. By the end of the night, the tripod had ice on it. Brrr… hope you feel better soon.

Thanks for posting that! My husband (www.crossmarkdesign.com/photography) tried getting some shots, but with three kids and two parents running in and out of the house, in a major city…well - we started looking like the Redneck Parade, so we just gave up.
