Backyard Clean up
It was a busy weekend around our house. We started on Friday by getting a new swing. We set up the swing and then drove out to some friends’ property to pick up rocks for a fire ring. Then Brenton and I stopped by Quest to get some pallet to be used for fire wood. At Quest, there was a friend working late so we invited him over for an impromptu bonfire/chai party. I didn’t take any pictures then, but I should have.
After a late night Friday, we slept in on Saturday and didn’t get moving until almost noon. We had planned on working in the backyard all day Saturday, but it was raining. Brenton and I moped around the house trying to figure something to do. We ended up going to the local historical society museum. I love museums. I love history. The people who were working there had just gotten a new toy for viewing slides and negatives. We got a nice pictorial slide show of the history of Bonner County. Afterwards we came home and read books all afternoon.
Sunday came and we started to go to church, but I was getting a pretty bad migraine. GRRR. That was my second one this week. I took and excedrin Migraine and put myself to bed. After a couple hours of sleep, I was feeling much better. I’ve found that the Excedrin’s work better than anything else for getting rid of my migraines. Even the prescription meds would put me out for a day. So the rest of the day we spent in the back yard with a fire going. I was working on gardening stuff. I am making a frame for my garden so I can build up the dirt with good soil.
Brenton was reading. All in all it was a good weekend. Time to face the week
