We have been traveling a bit in the last month. We answered the call to “go west” and traveled to Yakima, Wa. Washinton is a wierd state. The scenery changes so fast. We went there for a marriage conference that was given to us as an engagement present…a year and a half later…
The weather has been pretty cool still. It blows my mind that May is almost here. We finally got up to 70 deg this past week (How hot is it in Texas?) everyone around me thinks it’s summer time and are wearing shorts and flip flops. Last night I actually saw some people getting ready to go swimming. Foolish northerners. I think the altitude has affected their minds.
For the society guys. I saw this sweet little ride on the road last weekend. It was parked out by the soccer fields near our house. I had to grab a picture. I think this car would look better with me driving it.

Here’s the funny story about my cat. I stole this cat. All it took was a litle piece of bacon and this kitty is putty in my hands. I think it’s a beggar cat though and he only loves me for my food. I don’t care. The kitty makes me happy.
Spring has really arrived. The flowers are all blooming. We have a neighbor who is possibly the most contientous person I have ever seen. He washes his car every week (even in winter), checks the fluids, and vacuums the inside. You can imagine what he does to his lawn. He mowed his grass on Saturday and on Thursday last week. We haven’t mowed our yet. The dandylions are blooming abundantly.
On Thursday, we actually went and bought a lawn mower. After Brenton put it together, he broke the garage door. Now we have a new lawnmower that is stuck in the garage and a lawn that still hasn’t been mowed. I like dandylions though, so I didn’t really want to mow them off anyways.

This is the view down Oak Street. I would like for you to notice the evergreen trees in abundance and the total lack of oak trees. It makes me laugh, but I think this row is just so pretty.
